I got it yesterday from the library. I guess I should already have learned that reading books in the Stephanie Plum books while commuting can be hazardous. Just noticed that local library has two copies of Janet Evanovich's Eleven on Top in processing. Of course, I made a reservation for it. There was only one other reservation before me, so I should be getting the book as soon as it becomes available :).

The Beekeeper's Apprentice was as good as ever on the reread. Some parts of it were ok, but some were just brilliant. I've really liked Mary Russell's growth throughout this series, though some of the books haven't been as good as the others. The temptation got just too much, and today I ordered the hardcover of Closed Rooms, the newest MR book ( Read more... )

I finished Laurie R. King's The Game yesterday, and am happy to report that it's one of the good ones in her Mary Russell series. I think the books in the series are somewhat uneven, which is why I'm always wondering what the current one will be like, but the last two books (Justice Hall and this one) have been really good ( Read more... )
